The 35th edition of the Clark County Road Atlas is now in stock and may be purchased at the GIS Map Store on the 2nd floor, Suite 232, of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin Street, Vancouver. The price including tax is $22.05.

This 35th Edition is the result of cooperation between local government agencies throughout southwest Washington and input from previous Atlas clients. This atlas features the latest in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Technology, Aerial Photography and enhanced symbology.

Features of the Road Atlas:

• Displays public and private roads, hiking/biking trails, 200' contours, locations of airfields, boat ramps, recycle centers, and much more
• Portable size: 9" x 12"
• Scale: 1" = 2000' (1:24000)
• Locator maps for major public sites, identifying building locations
• Road index including courts, places, circles, loops, and ways
• Expanded and Standardized Parks location site maps for the regional parks including an updated Parks Facility Matrix
• Downtown Campus and Fairground maps
• Index of special points of interest including: emergency facilities, schools, golf courses, community facilities, and Park & Rides
• Address grid for streets and avenues

The aerial photography available from Clark County GIS now includes an April 2012 flight. These images are now the default images available on Maps Online and other County mapping products. The new images have a 6" resolution within the Vancouver Urban Growth Area, and 12" resolution for the remainder of the county. The resolution reflects the actual size of each pixel on the ground.

Historical images are available with the subscription version of Maps Online.

Vancouver, WA - The Clark County Geographic Information System (GIS) has changed its Storefront business hours to restore full time customer service. The Storefront is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Wednesdays, it is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Storefront, which offers maps, map books, data and geographic information consulting services, is in Suite 232 on the 2nd Floor of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St.

New land use maps adopted by the Clark County BOCC in September 2007 and took effect on January 1, 2008 are now available for viewing in MapsOnLine and as printed copies. Updated maps include Comprehensive Plan, Zoning, Overlays, and UGA boundary.

The 2nd edition of the bike map is now available at the GIS Map Store on the 2nd floor, Suite 232, of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin Street, Vancouver. The waterproof version may be purchased for $4.00. A paper version of this map is free!
