  • 2025 Comprehensive Plan GIS Layer Update Schedule

    The 2025 Comprehensive Plan update was adopted on October 13th, 2026. The details below describe the tentative update schedule for GIS data related to the Comprehensive Plan. GIS data layers are available for viewing in MapsOnline or available for download in our Clark County Open Data Hub.

    Affected layers:
    Comprehensive Plan 2016 – 2025 will be added to MapsOnline as archived versions.

    October 23, 2026
    Affected GIS layers will be updated following the adopted changes excluding the proposed Urban Growth Area (UGA) boundary expansion areas and zoning within the expansion areas.


    The county issued a Notice of Adoption of the Comprehensive Plan Update on October 20, 2026, which kicks off the 60-day appeal period. Appeals are submitted to the state Growth Management Hearings Board. 

    December 19, 2026
    UGA Expansion areas and zoning within these expansions not under appeal will be updated and included in affected GIS layers.
    Any areas under appeal will be updated upon resolution.



  • GIS Store Open By Appointment Only

    The GIS Store is open for in person visits by appointment only between the hours of 9:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Thursday.
